RASASC’s Written Submission to the APPG for Adult Survivors of CSA
The All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Adult Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse (CSA) recently held an inquiry into survivors’ experiences of the criminal justice system. Knowing how important this topic is, and how many improvements need to be made, our advocacy team was keen to write a submission.
Our submission focuses on the current landscape of the criminal justice system; including disclosure and austerity-driven cuts, and the very tangible impact this has on survivors. Our response ends with five recommendations on how the justice system can be immediately improved – making sure survivors are always at the heart of any reform.
